On June 10th, 2022, the Dawson Regional Planning Commission provided the Recommended Plan for the Dawson Region to the Parties at a small event in Dawson City. The handover ceremony marked the first step in the Land Use Plan Approval Process as set out in Chapter 11 of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Final Agreement.
On September 7, 2022, the Parties released the Recommended Plan to the public and launched a new website (onthelandwewalktogether.ca). They announced that the dates for engagement on the Recommended Plan will be from September 19 -November 20, 2022. You can read the news release here.
